Where Does the Time Go?

Who would have thought ten weeks would pass so fast? My maternity leave ends one week from today when I have to show up for work at 0630. It seems just yesterday I had my son. Although, I got more sleep earlier on, because I was in the hospital for 4 days. I got spoiled having nurses to take care of me and my son. My mother also was here for the week after my son was born, so I had some respite during the late night/early morning feedings.

My time off included having our friends come to visit for a week. Tara and her son Johnathan stayed with us for the last week. Brian came down for the first two days as well, but then had to go home to work. It was great having the company of Tara for the week. We enjoyed trying some recipes from my cookbooks that I have wanted to try. I hate it when cookbooks make enough for 4, or 6, or more when there are only two adults in this house who will be eating. While Brian and Tara were here, I found out about blogging....as they are bloggers. I remember having trouble as a child with keeping a diary....I lost interest or didn't have much to say that I thought was important enough to write down. So, here goes....I'll see how this works out...
